About Waiheke Wine Festival

Since 1978, Waiheke, with its warm climate and hilly terrain, has attracted adventurous and skilled winemakers.

Led by the pioneering Goldwater family, Waiheke now has over 30 individual wineries whose complex and elegant reds have achieved critical accolades and won awards all over the world.

Known to many as the Bordeaux of the South Pacific, Waiheke also boasts a range of crisp and fresh white wines that have also achieved international recognition on a regular basis.

The Waiheke Wine Festival will showcase many of the best, along with some exciting new vintages, to give the wine lover a truly delicious and memorable day amongst the vines of Waiheke, island of wine.
